Wines for Wimps

For those who don't like strong alcoholic beverages but at times need to have something available, this is a list of very mild white wines. They are good enough that I suffer through some allergic reactions for a taste.

(I'm not associated with any of these wines or companies. I merely need a list for emergency wine drinking situations.)

Rating: 1-10; 1=bad....10=excellent

Wine Name Winery Rating Comments
Muscat Canelli Chateau Ste. Michelle 10 This is a dessert wine, so it is very light, slightly fruity, and sweeter than typical white wines. My top pick because it is mild yet tasty. This seems to be available only in the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery store.
Riesling or Johannisberg Riesling Chateau Ste. Michelle 9 A mild wine though not as sweet or fruity as the Muscat Canelli. This is another top pick, especially if you don't want a dessert wine. I've seen price ranges from $5--$12 for this one.
Eroica Riesling Chateau Ste. Michelle 7 Mild yet not as mild as the "regular" Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. This has a little more bite and is a tiny bit tangy/sour. It is also pricier--I've seen this for ~$20.
White Riesling (late harvest) Hogue Cellars 7 Fairly mild but to me, has more of an alcohol-y burn as you exhale than the other wines listed here. The "late harvest" wines are slightly sweeter compared to wines from other seasons. I've seen price ranges from $7--$14 for this.
